Natural Symbols the Venezuela

We also have our natural symbols as they are:

Araguaney (Tabebuia chrysantha):

It is the emblematic tree of Venezuela. It was proclaimed national tree on May 29, 1948 (day of the tree), its name is because it belongs to the family bignoniacea tabebuia that is of indigenous origin and chrysantha comes from the Greek "flower of gold".

The Orchid or May Flower (Cattleya mossiae)
It is also called "Flor de Mayo", because the Venezuelan people use it to decorate the May Cross during a traditional religious festival that bears the same name. It was proclaimed as our national flower on May 23, 1951. It represents part of the natural beauty of Venezuela
